Based in The Lake District, Calvert Lakes offers specialist accessible adventure breaks for people with disabilities. Unlike a traditional open‑booking holiday provider, Calvert Trust operates on set residential dates, with each weekend or short break designed around a theme or mix of outdoor activities. These may include canoeing, climbing, horse riding, archery, abseiling or water‑based sessions in their fully accessible hydrotherapy pool.

Each break is fully catered, includes accessible accommodation and adaptive equipment, and is led by experienced instructors who tailor activities to each guest’s abilities and needs. Families, groups or individuals can book as long as one member of the party has a disability.

Once you’ve taken a look at their fantastic selection, please call Calvert Lakes to discuss your preference and check availability (017687 72255). After you have chosen the break you would like, please return to complete the booking form located on the ‘Book’ tab. Within the ‘Notes’ field, of the booking form, please detail the activity break you have chosen.

We will finalise the booking with Calvert Lakes who will be in touch to confirm your details.

  5. Do not attempt to book directly with the property owner. All booking must come via this form.
  6. Time Away will check your details and place your booking. We will be in touch to request further information relating to your party once the booking has been made.

Please note: We have a budget for each break. Whilst we have made every effort to ensure we can afford each break we have listed there may be occasions whereby we are unable to fund your requested break or dates. In the event of this happening we will contact you to request and alternative selection.
