Donating a break to Time Away

Before you begin your donation…. Time Away are incredibly grateful that you have chosen to donate time in your holiday property. We have created a donor FAQ page to help you to understand what to expect which can be found in the link below.

Before beginning the process we would like to make you aware that in order to submit this form you will be required to make a statement which confirms that your property meets certain standards and that there will be no charges (beyond damage) passed on to the guest or Time Away. More information can be found in the FAQ.

Time Away was set up to ensure it’s service users can experience the joy of booking a break in a way any paying guest would do. Ideally they should be permitted to access all of the features and services any guest would be entitled to. If there is a reason that you feel you can’t offer this then please contact us so we can chat about your concerns.

Would you like to claim for housekeeping costs?

Time Away have a limited budget to assist with the additional costs of donating a break. We can reimburse up to £200 per break. We recognise that there is a significant inherent value to your donation and the housekeeping costs are an additional expense to you. However we do have to fund raise to cover these costs so we would be extremely grateful if you feel able to cover these costs also. Costs will be credited back to you via bank transfer once the break has been completed.

Owner declaration

We have prepared the following statement to clarify the minimum requirements of all donations we receive. We encourage you to read our Terms and Conditions also which all of our service users agree to before booking a property.

Terms and Conditions

I / We hereby acknowledge receipt of the Terms and Conditions and confirm our acceptance of the terms contained therein. We further confirm that:

1. The Property will include:

a. a valid EPC dated within the last 10 years of at least an E rating;
b. Gas Safety Certificate dated in the last 12 months;
c. Electrical Installation Condition Report dated within the last 5 years, and where remedial work has been recommended in such report, we confirm that such remedial work has been completed;

2. We have public liability insurance in place which will apply during the duration of the hirer’s stay at the Property;

3. The Property will be provided free of any housekeeping deposit;

4. Our standard terms and conditions or “house rules” for each Property (including time of departure and arrival) will be provided to the hirer directly prior to their arrival;

5. The Property will include the same amenities as we would usually provide in the ordinary course of our rental business;

6. No fee will be charged to the hirer other than in the event of damage that is not insured. This acknowledgement is signed and dated by the undersigned, duly authorised to act on behalf of the Owner.
